  • 1 min read

This whipped yogurt recipe is a light, creamy alternative to traditional whipped cream, perfect for topping desserts, fruit, or baked goods. Made with Greek yogurt and heavy cream, this simple recipe creates a smooth, airy texture with just the right amount of sweetness. Whether you’re looking for a refined dessert topping or an elevated addition to cakes and pastries, whipped yogurt delivers rich flavor with a clean, balanced finish.

Whipped Yogurt

8 ounces plain Greek yogurt (about 1 cup)

6 ounces heavy cream (about 3/4 cup)

2 ounces golden syrup, sorghum syrup, honey, or maple syrup (about 3 tablespoons)

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Combine Greek yogurt, cream, sweetener, vanilla, and a pinch of salt in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment.

Mix at low speed to start, then increase to high and whip until mixture is thick and stiff, about 5 minutes. Use immediately as a soft, whipped cream–like topping.

This whipped yogurt recipe is ideal for pairing with cakes, fresh fruit, or warm desserts when you want something lighter than traditional frosting. Its versatility and quick preparation make it a go-to option for both everyday use and special occasions.
